Conceived by Don Mahmood in 2005, The Eklectik Foundation is the independent non-profit charitable organization of Eklectik Ventures.
The Eklectik Foundation uses an entrepreneurial approach to unite individuals and businesses to raise awareness, funds, and resources to take on tough social and economical problems. The primary goals of the foundation are to make sustainable changes through economic development.
About Project Hands On:
PROJECT HANDS ON, is exactly what it says, a hands on approach to the collection and distribution of funds and resources for the needs of the particular cause without having to deal with the bureaucracy and red tape usually associated with some other charitable programs. You will get to witness the help that you provide via our updates on the Eklectik Foundation Fan Page on Face Book and Youtube.
The current focus of Project Hands On is the devastation caused by the recent severe flooding in Pakistan. “Entire villages have been washed away, Present estimates indicate that over two thousand people have died and over a million homes have been destroyed since the flooding began. The United Nations estimates that more than 21 million people are injured or homeless as a result of the flooding, exceeding the combined total of individuals affected by the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, the 2005 Kashmir earthquake and the 2010 Haiti earthquake. Donate Tents, Sleeping Bags, Clothing, Shoes, Unbreakable Household Items, by dropping them off at the Eklectik Genes’ distribution center or showroom in Atlanta. Please call 770-416-0016 to schedule drop-offs.
Donate Towards a Family Survival Pack:
Inspired by PIA’s Family Pack, 15” x 15” x 12” cartons which will contain high energy food and liquids, EKF will make a similar version to include products easily available from the US markets. The contents of the EKF Family Survival Pack will contain: 1 Flat Sheet, 2 Bottles of Water (1.5 Liters ea), 2 Six packs of juice (250 ml), 3 packets cookies, 1 Shelf Life Milk Carton, 1 Packet of dates/dry fruit, 2 Anti Septic Soap Bars, 1 Pack of 6 ct. paper cups, 6 Packets Powdered Hydration Juice (2.2 oz ea), 1 Box of chocolates, and 1 bag of potato chips. EKF will send the Family Survival Packs to PIA’s Cargo Hub in New York for onward distribution thru their existing channels of Non-Government Organizations as well as the PK Army. Each FSP costs approx. $30, depending on the products available.You can donate for as many as you like)
